The Miss You Song

This is a poem my mom wrote for me when she's gone. She calls it The Miss You Song but it's just a poem.

The Miss You Song

Hello, my little ducky,
My tater tot, my bunny.
My apple strudel honey comb,
My lovey dove and home.

My little cup of sunshine,
My jacket in the rain.
My mountain top lollipop
Who keeps me all but sane.

My happy Henry Hippo,
My Krazy kangaroo.
My one and only star shine,
I write this poem to you.

When you wake up in the morning
And I’m not there to see,
Know from nose to toes
I really wish I could be.

To kiss your little lips,
To muss your pretty hair,
To Band-Aid all your problems,
No worries, I’ll soon be there.

I love you so much more
Than you could ever see,
My heart aches for you always,
My love to you, from me.
