Woe is Me

Okay, so it's pretty much official that I'm the cutest baby ever. Just letting you know.

So, I got a cold a couple of days ago and I've been pretty miserable. Today I went to the doctor and found out that on top of the cold, I have an ear infection. For the first time ever.

Mom and I read a book today. Okay, she read and I tried to grab it.

I'm getting closer to crawling. Today I kind of army crawled to get at the phone book. Mom let me rip out a couple of pages before she took it away, scolding me gently that I can rip the book but not try to eat it. Mom's are totally confusing.

So, since Mom and I are sick, we aren't going to Sister's Night tomorrow. I think we'll probably have another pajama day, hang out and read more books.

Oh man! I almost forgot the best news. I did 'milk' in sign language! It doesn't look exactly the way my mom does it, but she was so proud. We clapped for me. I'm getting so much better at clapping and patty cakin'.

Dad isn't at home anymore during the day and I miss him. You should see the way I practically jump out of my mom's arms to get to Daddy, though. He makes me very happy. Did I mention how delicious my medication is? It's pink and I like it, Mom won't let me stick my fingers in it. Silly lady.

I watched the dogs run around the backyard today. I slapped the glass on the backdoor and they would come to me and try to sniff me. It made me giggle.

Not Convinced

I rode in my new car seat today and I am not impressed. Mom thought I'd be so happy riding forward instead of backward and it's not nearly as cool as she said it would be. In fact, I can see my toes now but I can't reach them to take my socks off. Who invented those things?! I'm unable to stretch my toes in socks. What is the world coming to?! No more socks! No more socks! They suffocate my little piggies! Mom says in the summer I won't have to wear them. Pfft, I'll believe it when I see it.

Mommy-itis

Today was a good day but I was a little fussy. Every time Mom turned her back or went out of the room I screamed. I really wanted to be near her today, I was making up for spitting up on her face this morning. I was just so happy to see her I... ya know, puked.

Mom and Dad are pretty worried right now. Grammit is in the hospital again. I really hope she gets better soon. Ya hear that Grammit? GET BETTER SOON!

Mom says I'll be getting a new car seat soon because I'm getting too big for the one I'm in now. That'll be nice. She says it'll face forward so I can see everything. I'm really stoked.

I've decided I'm kind of a complicated baby. I sat up before I rolled over and now I'm trying to walk before I crawl. Am I different? Am I weird? No, no. I'm Addyson.

New Accomplishments!

You won't believe the stuff I can do now. I can wave and do patty cake! Plus, I've gotten really good at putting treats in my own mouth. I've started to scoot a little bit... unfortunately it's backwards. I can also climb up on the couch and my crib. Mom and Dad had to lower the mattress because I tried to get out one day. They worry a lot.

I've also started doing a cute little scrunch up face. When Mom can get a picture she'll post it. Oh and another thing, I think I'm getting my top teeth. Mom might hyperventilate. She's so weird sometimes.

Blow Dryer!

Look what my mom did to me! It was a normal nightly bath... and then she pulled out the blow dryer! Can you believe it?! Ahhh!

Tonight when Daddy was taking me down to bed, Mom came over and kissed me. I grabbed her hair and pulled her to me. She was so happy thinking I was giving her a big kiss, but no. I deceived her. When I had her in my clutches, I bit her nose! That's right and I giggled! Muwahahahahahaha!

Patty Cake!

Grandma T has been doing patty cake with me and I've been singing along. I admit, I don't exactly know the words, but I'm still singing. When the song ends I always squeal and want her to do it again.

Oh! Last night I had corn casserole... ooooh my goodness! It was so good, I had to get it all over my face so everyone would know how much I enjoyed it. I've also started to put the little fruity puffs in my mouth all by myself. But then I drool on my fingers and the puffs stick so I get frustrated. Eating is so much fun.
