It was my daddy's birthday on Monday this week. Mom says he's getting old, she told me to look for hair growing out of his ears. Nothing yet. Mom made an excellently awesome, oh my gosh so good cake and frosting for Dad's birthday. She also made homemade Chinese food. Speaking of food! Last week I helped my mom make cornbread. I got to stir the batter with a spoon... until I started trying to eat it. But yeah, I got to stand on a chair and everything.
So... le sigh... I am officially off the binky. My Nazi mom and Fascist dad took it away and kept it away. Patrick has been helping me through this hard time. He always understands me. He's starting to smell like I remember... which means Mom will be taking him away to wash him soon.
Yesterday I got to play with Ethan, who is my mom's friend's son. He didn't like when I gave him loves. AND he kept trying to tease me with graham crackers but I was faster so I'd take them and eat them and he'd cry... baby. He's two months older than me so we were pretty well matched when it came to wrestling over the vacuum. I just don't understand why he didn't like me touching him... probably a boy thing.
Tonight I'm going over to Oma and Papa's house because my parents are going to school. Yeah, weird... I know. It should be fun. Hopefully Papa will take me on lots of walks. I love walking with him. We walked clear to downtown Payson together, I wasn't in the stroller either... I walked! But he had to carry me home. I just love being in the spotlight of the street, waving to people I don't know.
I'll write again soon... sooner than I did before.
