WOW!

I can walk! Who knew it would be so great? Balancing on two legs. I'm a machine! Okay, well, sometimes I fall but still... I'm awesome!

It's been a while since I've blogged because I'm busy running around the house. So, let's get down to it. Last weekend Mom, Dad and I went up to Strawberry Reservoir with G-pa and Nanna Hargis. It rained a lot. But it was so much fun playing with Mitchell and my new friends Emma and Mia. I went on a boat... uhm, I'm undecided on it still. I liked it when we moved but Mom and Dad wouldn't let me get down and crawl or play with the package of worms. Rude. Then we had a good dinner, what can I say, I lurve chicken nuggets. Daddy wasn't feeling suh hot so we left that night but not before I did an amazing dance number and had everybody rolling on the trailer floor. Anyway, thanks G-pa and Nanna! I had a lot of fun.

Elmo's World is the best. I love Miss Noodle, Mommy keeps calling her Kristin Chenowith and I keep having to say, "Bluhebladlfihldlakdnflk," which roughly translated means, "Mom, that is so not Kristin Whatsherbucket, that's Miss Noodle and you're just crazy for thinking otherwise."

I've had a lot of fun this week. I've learned to crawl up on the couches and I helped Mom write her book the other day by slamming my fingers against the keyboard of her lap top... she decided that she was done writing for the day after that.

Today is my birthday party with the Hansen side of my family. My last name is Hansen so I'd think they'd be my whole family, but nooo. There are Hargises and Greens and Bunkers and Ratcliffes and Easleys and Swensons and all sorts of other people!

Weeeird! Cue the Twilight Zone music. Doo da doo doo, doo da doo doo, doo da doo doo.... Haha, doo doo.

Woe is Me!

When I woke up this morning, I didn't imagine my mom would be taking me to someone who claims to be a doctor. What kind of doctor stabs you FOUR TIMES?! At first him and his assistants are all like, "Oh, you're so cute." And I'm like, "I know." Then they're like, "Aw, you're such a good girl!" And I'm like, "I totally know." Then, all the sudden, they're like, "We have to give you shots." Then I'm like, "Whaaa?!"

And they got me... they got me good.

Both thighs, two shots a piece.

They said I weigh 20 pounds and I'm 30 inches tall. I'm in the 25th percentile for my weight and 75th for my height. Dr. T said I was a little underweight but Mom doesn't need to worry. I've done all of my stone throws... leap throws... dodger bones? Oh, Milestones. Whatev.

So yeah, I'm healthy and great and fabulous.

Except for the stabbing.

Le sad.

Happy Birthday to me! and Grandma and Grandpa Twede!

Did you know that every year you get a special day all to yourself?! How freakin' cool is that! It's called a birthday and mine was yesterday. It was my first one ever. And did you know that you get PRESENTS on that special day?! Le wow!

Here's how my day went.

I woke up with a GIGANTIC balloon near my bed... just out of my reach. How rude.

Then I got chocolate chip pancakes and you all know how much I lurve them. I had pineapple with my lunch, it was oh-em-gee so good! I started choking on it so Mom took it away... I yelled at her.

Later on, I caught my mom trying to sneak one of the birthday cupcakes she made. Well, I put her in her place. I pointed at her and started yelling, "I'm gunna tell Daddy on you! You naughty woman. No, no, no!" Mom said it's not nice to tattle but I don't know what that means so I don't care.

Then Mom and I took a shower and got ready. It was fun, she taught me how to shave my legs. Now that I'm one, I need to learn that stuff. When Dad got home from work he showered (he wouldn't take me in with him) and then we went over to Grammit and Granpits house. they got me a car! A car! And I'm not even sixteen months yet! Here's a picture of me with it and my birthday crown.

Isn't it cute? I love it! Dad even ran with me in it. Awesome, huh?

Here's everything I got; Swim suit, jacket, and outfit from Grandpa and Nanna Hargis. Outfit, flip flops, and savings account from Grandma and Grandpa Twede. An outside swing from Great Grandma and Grandpa Green. A push car from Grammit and Granpit Hansen. An Up Up Elmo and Elmo DVDs from Matt and Kenzie. Two teddy bears from Hannah's friend Oyate or however you spell it. A card and ten dollars from Granny and Richard. And finally, two pairs of PJs (lame), a baby doll and baby doll blankie from Mommy and Daddy.

Freakin' sweet, huh?!

After I got my presents, I got a cupcake. Muwahahaha, I'll leave you with pictures of my destruction of pastries.
